The Dayton Agreement

This week the team tackled the difficult task of renegotiating the Dayton agreement. 🇺🇳

In a security council with two invited countries (Bosnia and Serbia) they tried to find short and long term solutions to improve the situation. 🔧

This week's discussion focused on the high representative, the discussion was lively and animated but the parties were able to let go over a pizza. 🍕

Working papers are being written and we hope to reach a consensus next week and vote on a resolution. 🙋‍♂️

A little anecdote, I was told in my ear that the United States started their opening speech by : "Indeed, Dayton is a really nice city". 🏢
